You may have noticed a few things seem to have gone missing. We haven't been busted but - well, there's some good news and there's some bad news.

First the good news: we've been promoted! Yes, the high-ups have finally recognised our prodigious talents so they're moving us out of our workshop and into their shed. They want us to work more closely with the Whereis devs, turning their base metal into gold. That's all as nothing to us of course, but moving out of the workshop means moving out of this webpage. And that's the bad news.

This site is going to disappear, take a little holiday and come back all fresh and new.

We're not a very sociable bunch but we will really miss you and we are currently working on a plan to keep us in touch so stay tuned. Your ideas and feedback have been fantastic. Please keep writing. Any time you have an idea for how something on whereis.com could be improved, let us know because from now on we're going to be in an even better position to do something about it than we were before.

Also obviously we need to keep up the illusion with the bosses that those good ideas you kept having were really ours!
